Keypad entry systems
Keypad entry systems are security access systems where users enter a PIN (Personal Identification Number) or code on a numeric or alphanumeric keypad to gain access to a door, device, or system. They're common in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
How They Work
- User enters a code.
- System verifies the code against stored credentials.
- If valid, it triggers an action:
- Unlocks a door
- Logs an entry
- Activates a device
